Strategic Gears has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Ammar Madani as Chief HR Officer and Marwa Abdel Qader as Head of Marketing.
Appointed as Chief HR Officer, Ammar Madani will spearhead the firm’s ambitious human capital agenda. He brings a decade of experience in human capital and organizational change, as well as supply chain, to the Riyadh-headquartered management consulting firm.
Prior to joining Strategic Gears, Madani served in several roles in Saudi Arabia including as HR Director at a multinational consumer goods company.

In his role, Madani will be responsible for talent management, performance management, and learning & development. He will also spearhead recruitment, with Strategic Gears aiming to break through a next headcount milestone this year.
Madani will leverage a wealth of experience gained in these domains, having led a significant hiring campaign and supported the development of high performing teams, among others.
Earlier in his career, Madani led performance improvement programs within the HR domain, including the implementation of a large business continuity program during Covid-19 and the roll-out of a HCM system, and spent years in the supply chain and logistics side of business operations.
Meanwhile, in Egypt, Strategic Gears has appointed Marwa Abdel Qader as Head of Marketing to spearhead the firm’s market expansion.
Abdel Qader has extensive expertise in marketing strategy, communications, client relationship management, brand management, data analysis, and customer satisfaction analysis, all of which she gained during her dozen years in banking.
In her most recent role at a leading Egyptian private-sector bank, she was the Marketing Manager for the Products and Segments business, overseeing marketing activities for B2B and B2C customers. Notable accomplishments include managing the launch of major segments & rebrand, markedly improving the ROI of marketing activities, building strategic relationships and partnerships with agencies and vendors, and spearheading several internal improvement initiatives.
In her role, Abdel Qader will lead the firm’s marketing and branding efforts and shape communications strategies. She will work closely with the firm’s partners and staff.
Expanding its footprint in Egypt is one of Strategic Gears’ key goals for the coming years, as part of its ambition to become a regional leader in the MENA management consulting space, said Al-Qahtany earlier this year in discussion with ConsultancyME.
