Accenture has acquired Canada-based ServiceNow specialist consulting firm Nashco Consulting for an undisclosed sum. The addition, which is to be integrated into the firm’s global ServiceNow practice, further boosts its North American market presence in the growing As-a-service space.

Nashco Consulting was founded in 1993 to provide clients in the North American market with a range of solutions to solve IT Service Management challenges. Since 2008, the firm has focused on supporting clients with ServiceNow solutions. Situated in Alberta, Canada, the company offers consulting, design, and implementation services for the ServiceNow IT Service Management Suite.

Accenture recently announced the acquisition of Nashco Consulting, in a bid to further build out its capacity in the ServiceNow partner ecosystem, as the firm focuses on strengthening its As-a-Service proposition for clients. The addition of the Nashco team, and its industry experience, adds cloud strategy, implementation, integration and management capability to Accenture’s global ServiceNow practice.

Julie Sweet, Accenture’s North America Chief Executive, says, “Our clients are increasingly seeking to adopt As-a-Service operating models, and this acquisition represents the latest in a series of significant investments in our cloud business to meet the growing demand. Nashco’s team of certified ServiceNow professionals in Canada brings a strong track record and exceptional skills that will help our clients meet the challenges of digital transformation. We look forward to welcoming Nashco’s talented professionals to our team.”

Nashco's Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Ken Stainsby adds, “Since our founding, we have not been afraid to embrace new directions and emerging technologies that continue to re-shape our industry. By joining forces with Accenture, our clients will be able to solve their IT business challenges more rapidly by leveraging Accenture’s deep industry expertise and breadth of solutions that are needed in the ever-evolving cloud services environment.”
