Challenge:
A global Management Consulting firm were looking for an experienced Technology Architect to join their expanding Digital Innovation team. We took the time to truly understood the requirements of the senior stakeholders before initiating any searches, their aim was to expand their already talented practice with additional architecture practitioners. The ideal profile was someone who could provide strategic advisory services to clients in technical, solution, application, digital, enterprise, or business architecture.
Solution:
Consulting Point have a strong network across consulting and were able to quickly identify a number of high-quality Technology Architects, aiming for individuals from Tier 1 Consulting firms who possesses a strong academic background. We introduced a select shortlist of candidates with one particularly sticking out, due to their OxBridge academics, target firm experience and broad Technology Architecture expertise across a range of sectors. This individual had particular specialisms in Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, GenAI, Data Analytics, Robotics and other related technologies.
Results:
Through close contact throughout, we were able to ensure the candidate was thoroughly prepared for each interview during the hiring process, giving them advice based on feedback and helping to ensure they understood the expectations of their case study interview. When the client made their intentions clear that they would be raising an offer, we added additional value by explaining the candidate’s expectations and helping them formulate an offer that would be quickly accepted without a need to negotiate. The candidate appreciated the work that had been put in behind the scenes to create a competitive offer and quickly decided to accept the role.
