Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) and a leading global management consulting firm, announced that Paul Ricard has been appointed as the new Asia-Pacific Head of Insurance and Asset Management, effective immediately.

In his new role, Mr. Ricard will drive the growth of Oliver Wyman’s Insurance and Asset Management practice in the region, leading development of key client accounts and ensuring the business is effectively serving the needs of clients in the region. He will be based in Oliver Wyman’s Singapore office and will divide his time between Greater China, Southeast Asia, Japan and Australia.

Mr. Ricard joined Oliver Wyman in 2011 in New York to advise insurance leaders on large-scale growth and transformation programs. He hosts Oliver Wyman’s Reinventing Insurance Podcast and has co-authored thought-leadership on insurance, including Oliver Wyman’s 10 Ideas for Insurance CEOs.
