Davide Olivieri has joined management consultancy BearingPoint as a US partner.

Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Olivieri will lead and build the data, analytics, and AI offering – which will help companies deploy tools to harness data and scale technologies such as generative AI.

He brings more than 25 years of experience leading strategic and digital transformation for clients in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Olivieri spent the last 22 years at Accenture, relocating from Rome to Chicago in 2018. During his time at the consultancy, he worked with large clients such as Unilever and PepsiCo and helped launch and build the global analytics practice. Olivieri most recently served as managing director for the Midwest resources client account group and managing director for digital analytics and IX, North America.

Before joining Accenture, he was a sales consultant team leader at Oracle.

Olivieri has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from City, University of London.

“We are thrilled to welcome Davide Olivieri to our growing US team,”

said Chetan Rangaswamy, US practice leader at BearingPoint.

“Davide will lead the Data, Analytics and AI practice which, when combined with the capabilities of our firm-wide technology team, will turbocharge our offering for clients. Davide’s extensive experience across these technologies will be a significant asset to the BearingPoint US and our clients."

BearingPoint says its US operations have realized a 60% increase in top-line growth in the last three years and its consulting team has tripled in size.

The Amsterdam-headquartered firm in 2009 sold its bankrupt US operations to PwC and Deloitte. The consultancy today has one US location in Chicago.

“I am a firm believer in the power of data, analytics and AI for revolutionizing operations and bringing greater efficiencies to all organizations,”

Olivieri said.

“With the widespread availability of generative AI and large language models, the opportunities to scale innovation have increased exponentially. Joining BearingPoint as a Partner is an exciting opportunity to build upon the organization’s established expertise and bring the benefits of these technologies to more businesses across the US and beyond.”

BearingPoint provides services in people and strategy, operations, finance and risk, customer and growth, and technology. The firm has over 5,300 employees across offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the US.

BearingPoint is allied with West Monroe Partners in North America.

The firm in June welcomed Fabrice Roche as a New York-based partner.
