Challenge:
Having been involved with the growth plans of the Swiss practice for a boutique consulting firm for the last 18 months, we were asked to complete an engagement to secure an Associate Partner for their Life Sciences practice. This is a key hire and they needed a leader who could help shape the Life Sciences offering alongside the existing executive team, due to our longstanding relationship we worked closely with them to help secure the right profile.
Solution:
Through regular updates and feedback sessions we were able to quickly shape the profile that they required, going to our extensive consulting network and speaking to a number of strong potential candidates. Due to the culture of the firm being such an important aspect, it was important that we took into account who would be the best fit holistically for the position.
Results:
After a number of meetings, one of the candidates was a clear preference and she put together an impressive business case to support her candidacy. The client worked with Consulting Point to put together a suitable offer, which was immediately accepted by the candidate and a start date put in place.
